The Coop-CSUR, through its Eco-Local Market, accepts the challenge of helping to support the Vaudreuil-Soulanges business community by allowing merchants and artisans to sell their products on our web platform.

Indeed, considering that all non-essential businesses have had to close recently, our local businesses must find alternatives to stay in business during this crisis. The Ecolocal Market platform can play this role and thus contribute to greater economic stability in the region.

For Joanne Brunet, General Manager at DEV, "Our close relationships with entrepreneurs have allowed us to quickly identify their needs to access online sales tools in a short period of time in order to continue their business activities. We are proud," she adds, "to offer a solution adapted to this issue by promoting a regional platform that is already in place and has proven its worth. She concludes by adding, "It is important to favour local initiatives and to work in harmony with provincial initiatives to maximize the influence of Vaudreuil-Soulanges businesses.

Rapid and concerted action

From now on, it will be possible for local merchants in Vaudreuil-Soulanges to create a "seller" file on the Ecolocal Market and submit their products. The form and the items will then be reviewed by the Coop-CSUR team and put online. From then on, after creating a "customer account" on the site, citizens will be able to order products from local merchants online. According to current forecasts, orders will be delivered from Thursday 16 April throughout Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

"Our social economy enterprise is adapted to react quickly and promptly to the needs of our communities," says Bianka Dupaul, Executive Director of Coop-CSUR. "According to Ms. Dupaul, our business model is based on the principle of solidarity, which translates into mobilizing the necessary means to meet the needs of our members, our clients! »
