About

Created in 2009, Ferme Les Petites Écores, a family business, is a producer of organic, bee-keeping and sea buckthorn. Since 2017, it is possible to visit the farm to discover the fabulous world of bees, the production of sea buckthorn and vegetable production on small surface. In addition to organic vegetables, honey and sea buckthorn, more than 20 different products are made on the farm to satisfy your taste buds! All our products are available on the farm, in the events in which we participate as well as at some retailers including the Écolocal Market of the COOP CSUR.

Our Productions

We manage 200 hives distributed in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges territory to Saint-Polycarpe. To limit stress on hives, we extract honey twice a year and limit the movement of hives.

It is 1500 sea buckthorn plants that are grown on the farm. The biggest danger to sea buckthorn is fungi. When a shrub is attacked by a fungus, we cut the affected branch to limit the damage. In this way, we do not need to use pesticides on our plants.

Organic vegetable production is carried out on an area of 2 acres. Our organic vegetables are available in ASC basket vegetables and on the farm. Some vegetables are also available on the Écolocal Market of the COOP CSUR.
